Los Angeles Rams WR Davante Adams sidelined 6-10 weeks with hamstring injury
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams is expected to miss six to 10 weeks after suffering a ruptured hamstring during Sunday’s 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Head coach Sean McVay confirmed the injury occurred on a non-contact play late in the game. Adams has been a key offensive contributor this season, recording 30 receptions for 480 yards and four touchdowns through six games.
The injury adds to a growing list of setbacks for the Rams, who currently hold a 2-4 record. Defensive tackle Poona Ford is out for the remainder of the season with a ruptured triceps, and kicker Blake Grupe is also expected to miss the rest of the year following an ACL tear. Additionally, defensive tackle Kobie Turner is expected to miss four to six weeks due to a groin injury and will be placed on injured reserve.
With Adams sidelined, the Rams' offense will rely more heavily on All-Pro receiver Puka Nacua and depth options such as Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington, and Konata Mumpfield.
