Davao City authorities activate emergency measures for Undas 2026

Davao City and the Police Regional Office XI have initiated comprehensive preparedness measures for the 2026 Undas observance. The Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) has raised its alert status to Blue Alert from October 30 to November 2. This activation includes the operation of an Emergency Operations Center to provide round-the-clock monitoring of weather systems and incidents, ensuring the timely deployment of medical and emergency resources.

Simultaneously, Police Regional Office XI is mobilizing full-force deployment from October 29 to November 3. Police officials have inspected key sites, including Wireless Public Cemetery and Davao Memorial Park, to coordinate traffic management and officer positioning. Security measures include the establishment of assistance desks in cemeteries and columbaria, as well as increased visibility along major thoroughfares to assist pedestrians and manage traffic flow. Coordination efforts are also focused on providing assistance to senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
