Dave Cléments organ donation saves five lives

Dave Cléments, a resident of the Duplessis region, passed away in August 2021 following a cerebral hemorrhage. His decision to donate his organs resulted in saving or improving the lives of five individuals.

Cléments was deeply committed to organ donation advocacy, previously serving as president of the local organization Greffe-toi à nous. The organization, which supports transplant recipients and those awaiting transplantation, was inspired by the experience of his sister, Marie, who received heart and kidney transplants before her death in 2020.

Following his passing, his partner Mylène Barbeau and brother Denis Cléments have continued their involvement with the organization. Greffe-toi à nous has supported 46 people in the Duplessis region, primarily assisting with medical travel needs.
