Dave, father of Mighty Mike Plays, issues refunds for AI merchandise
Dave, the father of the YouTuber Mighty Mike Plays, has issued refunds for AI-generated merchandise following online scrutiny. The controversy began after Dave claimed his nine-year-old son spent $118,000 on YouTube advertisements using a company credit card, an incident he initially stated resulted in him losing his job.
In a recent video explanation, Dave retracted the claim that he had been fired. He also announced that he would no longer appear on his son’s channel to avoid ‘hijacking’ it, instead launching his own YouTube channel titled ‘Coffee Time with Dave’. He confirmed that all customers who purchased the controversial AI-designed T-shirts have been refunded, regardless of whether they requested one.
