Dave Grohl admits to fathering child outside of marriage

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has admitted to fathering a fourth daughter outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum. The child was born in 2024, following an extramarital relationship.

In a public statement shared via Instagram, Grohl expressed his intention to be a “loving and supportive father” to the newborn. He also stated his commitment to regaining the trust of his wife and requested privacy and consideration for all children involved. Grohl noted that he loves his wife and existing children and is working to earn his spouse's forgiveness.

Reports indicate that Jordyn Blum, whom Grohl has been married to since 2003, was shocked by the news. The musician has previously attributed personal struggles during recent years to emotional overload following the deaths of his mother, Virginia Grohl, and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.

While the identity of the child's mother was initially private, media reports have identified her as Jennifer Young, a resident of Los Angeles.
