U.S. Senator Dave McCormick has publicly endorsed Sean Parnell as a potential candidate for Secretary of the Army. McCormick expressed confidence in Parnell, describing him as a decorated combat veteran and a patriot.

Parnell currently serves as a senior advisor and assistant to the Secretary of War for Public Affairs. Reports indicate that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has identified Parnell as his top choice for the position, following the departure of former Secretary Dan Driscoll on September 2.

Parnell is a former Republican candidate for Pennsylvania’s 17th U.S. House District and previously sought the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate before withdrawing from the race in 2021.
