Dave Portnoy visits Hudson Valley pizzerias for One Bite reviews

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy visited three pizzerias in the Hudson Valley region of Dutchess County during the weekend of September 26, 2026. The visits were part of his ‘One Bite’ series, where he reviews various establishments by tasting their pizza and providing a score out of ten.

The three businesses visited included Hudson & Packard in Poughkeepsie, Pipinelli's Pizza Parlor in Poughkeepsie, and Mommò Pizza Napoletana in Fishkill. In his initial review for Pipinelli's, Portnoy described the food as a ‘very traditional football pizza’ with a ‘good crisp’ and gave the establishment a score of 7.

While the full ratings for all three locations have not yet been officially released by Barstool, the visits have generated significant social media engagement within the local community.
