Dave the Diver reaches 10 million copies sold

The adventure RPG Dave the Diver has reached a major sales milestone, surpassing 10 million units sold across all platforms. Developed by Mintrocket, the title has become one of the most successful indie games in recent years.

The gameplay features a loop where players explore the Blue Hole to catch fish and collect ingredients during the day, then manage a sushi restaurant at night using those resources. Profits from the restaurant are reinvested into equipment to allow for deeper exploration.

Following its initial Steam Early Access release in October 2022, the game expanded to PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. More recent expansions include releases for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox consoles. A mobile version for iOS and Android is scheduled for release on September 17, which will feature specific optimizations for touch-screen devices.
