Dave Van Horn signs contract extension with Arkansas through 2031

The University of Arkansas has announced a new five-year contract extension for head baseball coach Dave Van Horn, keeping him in Fayetteville through the 2031 season. The agreement replaces his previous 10-year contract signed in 2021 and increases his annual salary to $2.1 million. The deal also includes performance-based bonuses for winning a Men’s College World Series championship and for fulfilling the full length of the contract.

Van Horn, a former Razorback player, is entering his 39th season as a collegiate head coach and his 25th season leading the Arkansas program. Under his leadership, the Razorbacks have become one of the most successful programs in the country, recording 974 total wins and eight College World Series appearances, including a runner-up finish in 2018. His tenure has also included three SEC regular-season titles and eight SEC Western Division championships.
