Davi Brito accused of negotiating R$ 300,000 to lose fight
Influencer Carlinhos Maia has released screenshots alleging that Davi Brito, a former Big Brother Brasil participant, attempted to negotiate a fixed outcome for an upcoming fight against Rico Melquiades at ‘Rancho do Maia’.
According to the leaked messages, Brito proposed receiving R$ 300,000 to lose the match via technical knockout in the second round. He reportedly offered an installment plan, suggesting R$ 200,000 immediately and R$ 100,000 the following month, and later suggested a reduced amount of R$ 100,000.
In response to the controversy, singer Nego do Borel released a video advising Brito. Borel criticized the influencer's behavior, citing a lack of humility and warning about the dangers of fame and the tendency to view criticism as an attack.
