David Alaba undergoes physical conditioning at Udinese
David Alaba is undergoing a specific re-athletization program to reach peak physical condition following his signing with Udinese. The Austrian defender, who signed a contract through June 30, 2027, is expected to be integrated into Kosta Runjaic’s squad gradually to manage his fitness levels.
Athletic trainer Claudio Bordon suggests that Alaba could be match-ready within two to three weeks, provided there are no setbacks. Despite his age, experts believe his international experience at clubs like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will allow him to serve as a leader for the team.
In addition to Alaba’s recovery, Udinese is monitoring other players, including Oumar Solet and Alessandro Zanoli, who recently participated in friendly matches. However, concerns remain regarding attacker Gueye, who suffered a right ankle injury during a recent test in Poland.
