David Alonso Moto2 Dutch Grand Prix Assen 24 thousandths

Colombian rider David Alonso secured his first Moto2 victory of the 2026 season at the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen. He beat Spanish rider Manuel González by just 24 thousandths of a second, ending a personal podium drought that had lasted since his win in Hungary in 2025.

The win gave Alonso a narrow edge in the championship standings and generated celebration in the Aspar Team paddock. He will next travel to Germany for the Sachsenring round of the Moto2 World Championship.
