David and Victoria Beckham become UK’s first billionaire sports couple

The Sunday Times Rich List 2026 estimates the combined net‑worth of David Beckham and his wife Victoria at £1.185 billion (about €1.36 billion or $1.58 billion), making David Beckham Britain’s first billionaire sportsperson and the second‑richest UK athlete after the Bernie Ecclestone family. Their wealth has roughly doubled from around £500 million a year earlier, driven largely by David’s 26 percent stake in MLS side Inter Miami, now valued at roughly $1.35 billion after Lionel Messi’s arrival, and by Victoria’s fashion label, which posted revenues above £100 million and a valuation of around £375 million. Endorsement deals for both partners – with brands such as Adidas, Hugo Boss, Pepsi and many others – and additional property investments in Miami and the UK further bolstered the fortune. The couple now rank second among the UK’s wealthiest sportspeople, behind the Ecclestone family, and join other new billionaires on the list, including promoters Barry and Eddie Hearn.
