David Beamer endorses Mike Rogers and criticizes DSA

David Beamer, father of Flight 93 hero Todd Beamer, has issued a political endorsement and criticism of domestic political movements. Beamer endorsed Mike Rogers for the U.S. Senate in Michigan, stating he intends to “vote for an American” and a “real Michigan man.”

In separate remarks, Beamer criticized the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), claiming their platform aims to destroy American values and foundations. He characterized the group as being more closely aligned with “domestic terrorists” than with the American way of life, suggesting that certain internal political enemies are planning attacks against the country's institutions and government.
