David Beckham pursues beekeeping at Cotswolds estate

David Beckham has developed a passion for beekeeping and gardening at his 40,000 m² estate in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire. The hobby, which began during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns, involves managing an eco-farm where he maintains wildflower meadows to support his bees.

Beckham produces organic honey under names such as ‘D Bee’ and ‘Seven Honey’. His honey has served as a unique diplomatic gift, including a jar presented to King Charles III in May 2023. Following a meeting with the King in June 2024 to discuss beekeeping, Beckham was appointed as an ambassador for the Royal Family’s King’s Foundation.

This interest has also led to a business venture, BEEUP, a line of natural honey-based snacks for children.
