David Bisbal releases ‘Eternos’ tribute album

Spanish singer David Bisbal has released his tenth studio album, titled ‘Eternos’. The project serves as a tribute to the golden era of romantic Spanish-language pop from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s.

The album features ten covers of classic tracks by artists such as Nino Bravo, Raphael, Juan Gabriel, and José José. Bisbal aimed to respect the original melodies while finding his own vocal interpretation. To achieve a vintage sound, the production utilized large ensembles of up to 90 musicians. The base recordings were captured live at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, with additional strings and brass recorded in Budapest.

Notable tracks include ‘Amor Eterno’, which features a symphonic mariachi arrangement, and a capella performances of Joan Manuel Serrat’s ‘Aquellas Pequeñas Cosas’. The album was produced by Cheche Alara.
