Musician David Byrne has announced a new concert film titled ‘Who Is The Sky?’, documenting his recent tour. The project is directed by filmmaker Brady Corbet, known for ‘The Brutalist’.

In an ambitious technical choice, the film was shot on 70mm film using both 8-perf and 15-perf formats. The production captured several performances at the Hippodrome in Baltimore, Byrne’s hometown. Byrne noted that the 70mm format successfully captures the wide visual scope of the live show.

The film is produced by The Deep End Films, Pre-Code, and David Byrne, with River Road Entertainment serving as the presenter. A release date and distribution details have not yet been announced.
