David Carreira addresses relationship separation rumors

Portuguese singer David Carreira has responded to rumors regarding a potential separation from his partner, Carolina Carvalho. When questioned by ‘TV Guia’ about the reports of a crisis in their relationship, Carreira declined to confirm or deny the claims, stating, “If it were something that were true… or even if it were not… I would not say it now. It would be something that would be said between two people. And it was not something that I would talk about at this stage.”

Carreira expressed a desire to remain calm and focus on his personal well-being and family, noting that he is not concerned by the rumors. He emphasized his commitment to doing things the right way and stated, “I have a wonderful family. Today rumors do not worry me. Zero. Let them circulate… I don’t care. I want to do what I like and be happy.”

The rumors follow a perceived decrease in the couple's social media activity. Carreira is currently preparing for his “(Re) Encontro” tour, which is scheduled to begin in January 2027 and conclude at the MEO Arena in Lisbon.
