David Collado expands political presence in Dominican Republic and abroad

David Collado, the Dominican Republic's Minister of Tourism, is expanding his political presence both domestically and abroad. Political analyst Carlos Ortiz reported that Collado is expected to begin a series of tours across the Dominican Republic starting in January. These movements are viewed as a new stage of territorial engagement with citizens and party leaders amid growing speculation regarding political positioning for the 2028 elections.

Simultaneously, Collado’s political team is working to establish organizational structures within the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) across international constituencies. A commission led by Organization Director Júnior Peralta has been conducting meetings in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Europe. These efforts aim to coordinate political representation among Dominican communities in regions including New York, Miami, and Barcelona.
