David Crisafulli addresses Queensland challenges at Future Brisbane event

Queensland Premier David Crisafulli is participating in The Courier-Mail’s 10th anniversary Future Brisbane event alongside Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and 'Bluey' creator Joe Brumm. The event features discussions on urban development, technology, and the city’s cultural identity.

In recent addresses, including his 2026 CEDA State of the State speech, Crisafulli has focused on addressing four primary challenges: health, housing, crime, and the cost of living. He stated that progress is being made in these areas after a period of decline. Additionally, Crisafulli highlighted opportunities regarding fuel, critical minerals, and data centres.

The Future Brisbane event includes sessions on practical urban strategy and technology, with panels discussing the protection of Brisbane’s character and preparations for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
