Emilio Méndez hosts bullfighting art exhibition at El Bibio

The El Bibio bullring in Gijón is hosting a photo-pictorial exhibition titled ‘15 años de Toros, Pasión y Arte’ by Mexican artist and photographer Emilio Méndez. The exhibition, which runs until August 18, showcases work from the last 15 years captured at major bullfighting fairs across Spain, Mexico, and France. The collection integrates photography with abstract art and collage.

In addition to the artistic showcase, the El Bibio bullring has hosted recent bullfighting events as part of the Begoña Fair. During these festivities, Álvaro Lorenzo achieved a significant triumph with a masterful performance that earned him his first ear of the afternoon. Other participants included Ginés Marín and Clemente, while the event also included a tribute to the late Pilar Vega de Anzo.
