David Flippo campaign attributes donation to deceased Nevada philanthropist

The campaign of Republican David Flippo, a candidate for a House seat in Nevada, has come under scrutiny after federal disclosures revealed a donation attributed to a deceased individual.

According to reports, the campaign accepted a $7,000 contribution from Marilynn Mack, which is twice the federal maximum allowed. Rather than returning the excess, amended filings submitted to the Federal Election Commission reattributed $3,500 of that amount to Joyce Mack, a prominent Nevada philanthropist who died in 2024.

This incident follows other reported issues regarding Flippo’s campaign, including missed deadlines for financial disclosures and retracted claims concerning military awards.
