David Guetta awarded Hollywood Walk of Fame star ahead of Slovakia show

French DJ and producer David Guetta will become the first disc jockey to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a honor that recognises his two‑decade influence on electronic dance music and popular culture. The accolade highlights his role in bringing EDM into the mainstream through chart‑topping collaborations with artists such as Sia, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj.

Guetta is scheduled to headline the Lovestream festival in Bratislava on 9 August, delivering a live set of his biggest hits and showcasing his trademark production. The Slovak performance will follow the star ceremony in Hollywood, marking a historic milestone for both the artist and the DJ community.
