David Guetta named world’s number one DJ for record sixth time

David Guetta has been named the world’s number one DJ for a record sixth time in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2026 rankings. The results, determined by a public vote from 234 territories, were announced at the UNVRS club in Ibiza.

Guetta’s historic win follows a year of significant commercial success, including five billion streams and 22 number-one hits on the US Dance Airplay chart. Martin Garrix secured the second position, while Anyma ranked third. Other notable winners included Charlotte de Witte as the top Techno DJ and Indira Paganotto as the inaugural top Psy DJ.

Mahmut Orhan also made a significant appearance, entering the list at number 42. The annual poll also supported a philanthropic initiative through Bridges for Music, raising £120,000 to fund music education for students in South Africa.
