David Guetta's Lisbon concert expects 40,000 fans amid traffic restrictions
French DJ and producer David Guetta performed on Sunday at Parque Papa Francisco, a venue on the banks of the Tagus River between Lisbon and Loures, as part of his "The Monolith" tour. Organisers forecast around 40,000 attendees for the show, which began at 21:30 after doors opened at 18:00.
The Portuguese Police (PSP) announced that vehicle circulation and parking in the surrounding area will be restricted from 08:00 Saturday until 04:00 Monday. The measures affect the Rotunda das Mercadorias, access to the IC2, Rua da Beira Tejo and the N10 in Bobadela. Attendees are urged to use public transport, such as the Sacavém train station or shuttle services from the Bobadela stop. Security checks will screen bags and prohibit items like alcohol, weapons, fireworks, large luggage and professional photography equipment.
