David Hallyday celebrates 60th birthday and family milestones

French musician David Hallyday is celebrating his 60th birthday on August 14, 2026, amidst significant family milestones. Hallyday, the son of Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Vartan, has recently shared details regarding his three grandchildren.

His eldest daughter, Ilona Smet, is the mother of two boys, Harrison and Oscar. His younger daughter, Emma Smet, welcomed a son named Akira in the summer of 2025. Hallyday expressed great joy in his role as a grandfather, noting that his grandchildren affectionately call him ‘Dadou’.
