David Hockney, influential Pop Art figure, dies at 88

David Hockney, a prominent figure in the Pop Art movement, has passed away in London at the age of 88. Born in Bradford in 1937, Hockney studied at the Bradford School of Art and the Royal College of Art in London.

His diverse career spanned painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and stage design.
