Christian Eckerlin loses main event at OKTAGON 94 in Frankfurt

German MMA star Christian Eckerlin suffered a decisive defeat against Czech fighter David Kozma during the OKTAGON 94 event held at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt. In the main event, Kozma secured a victory by forcing Eckerlin to tap out via a rear-naked choke just two seconds before the end of the first round.

Kozma, a former OKTAGON welterweight champion, dominated the bout by taking Eckerlin to the ground early in the match. Following the loss, Eckerlin dismissed rumors of retirement and issued a challenge to fighter Christian Jungwirth for a rematch next year.

The event, which celebrated the tenth anniversary of OKTAGON, featured ten bouts, seven of which ended in early decisions. Other notable results included a points-decision loss for Christian Jungwirth against Max Coga.
