David Parra joins PAN’s internal race for Naucalpan municipal leadership

The National Action Party (PAN) in Naucalpan opened its internal process to select Coordinators of the Change and Defenders of the Family ahead of the 2027 municipal election. Among the four registrants are former PRI deputy and ex‑SUTEyM leader David Parra Sánchez, former municipal PAN leader Alfredo Oropeza, current PAN municipal chief Mario Sandoval, and ex‑state PAN director Francisco Gárate. Parra announced his candidacy for the post of “Defensor de la Patria y la Familia,” a position that serves as a stepping‑stone to the municipal presidency. He emphasized his long political experience and commitment to defending families, while noting that PAN is opening its ranks to external citizens to broaden competition and reduce top‑down appointments.
