David Petraeus estimates 1.2 million Russian casualties in Ukraine

Former CIA Director David Petraeus has provided a significant assessment of Russian military losses in the conflict in Ukraine, stating that the number of Russian soldiers killed or wounded has exceeded 1.2 million.

Petraeus noted that the rate of Russian casualties is currently outpacing Moscow’s ability to recruit new soldiers. He highlighted that in recent periods, Russia has been losing more than 20,000 soldiers per month, including both fatalities and injuries.
