David Romero transfers from Tigre to Parma for 10 million USD

Argentine striker David ‘Rulo’ Romero has completed a transfer from Tigre to the Italian club Parma for 10 million USD. The deal involves the sale of 100% of his economic rights, with the player expected to sign a five-season contract following medical examinations in Italy.

The transfer provides a significant financial windfall for Talleres de Córdoba, the club where Romero developed. Due to a prior agreement, Talleres will receive approximately 3.045 million USD in capital gains, plus an additional 450,000 USD in training compensation, totaling roughly 3.5 million USD.

Romero’s career includes a notable period at Unión La Calera in Chile, where his performances helped the team avoid relegation. During his time at Talleres between 2020 and 2024, he made 44 official appearances, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
