Nineteen-year-old defender David Vujević has transferred from Zurich to the Italian Serie B club Carrarese for 1.5 million euros. The move marks a historic moment for the club, founded in 1908, as Vujević becomes the most expensive signing in its history. He has signed a contract with the Italian side through 2030.

Vujević, who recently chose to represent Croatia over Switzerland, has already debuted for the Croatian U-21 national team. This transfer represents his first professional move outside of Switzerland.
