David Walther tops F4 Central European championship as female drivers record personal bests

The fourth season of the Central European Formula 4 (F4 CEZ) championship has seen a record‑size grid of 42 cars, prompting split qualifying and a three‑heat‑plus‑final format at each event. Jenzer Motorsport, the three‑time team champion, remains a benchmark, while Maffi Racing currently leads the drivers' standings with Danish driver David Walther, who has claimed three victories including wins at the Red Bull Ring and the Slovakiaring. Walther’s rivals Elia Weiss and Teo Borenstein are within striking distance, each also securing multiple heat wins.

At the Autodrom Most round, the female contingent delivered a strong performance. McLaren Development Driver Ella Hakkinen and Swedish rookie Alexia Danielsson each achieved season‑best finishes, while Germany’s Mathilda Paatz added two more top‑ten results. Michalina Sabaj secured the Female Trophy honour, and Austrian Ivonn Simeonova made her Formula 4 debut after months of testing with the More than Equal programme.
