Milan: Videomaker Davide Di Lernia dies in motorcycle crash

Davide Di Lernia, a 47-year-old videomaker, producer, and director, died following a motorcycle accident in Milan during the night between September 19 and 20. The incident occurred on via Mecenate, near the tramway tracks, when Di Lernia reportedly lost control of his vehicle and struck a metal safety barrier.

Di Lernia was the son of the late Leone Di Lernia, a prominent Italian radio host and singer known for his work on ‘Lo Zoo di 105’. Davide had built a professional career in the audiovisual and radio sectors, collaborating with networks such as Radio Monte Carlo, Radio 105, and Virgin Radio.

Just hours before the accident, he had shared social media updates from a musical event featuring DJ Carl Cox at Carroponte. Local police are investigating the exact circumstances of the crash, including potential factors such as vehicle speed or road conditions. The motorcycle has been seized by the prosecutor's office for technical analysis.
