Davide Ballerini joins Pinarello - Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team

Davide Ballerini has signed with the Pinarello - Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, joining from XDS Astana. The 32-year-old Italian rider, a former European Champion and winner of a stage in the 2026 Giro d'Italia, will join the Swiss-based squad starting in 2027.

Ballerini, a specialist in cobbled classics, cited a desire for new motivations and objectives as the primary reason for choosing the project over other options. Team CEO Doug Ryder noted that Ballerini brings significant experience and the ambition necessary to win major races.

His arrival marks the tenth reinforcement for the Pinarello - Q36.5 squad during this transfer window, following other recent signings such as Ethan Hayter. The team continues to build its roster with the aim of competing at the highest level of professional cycling.
