Davide Grigi wins 69th Lugo-San Marino cycling race

The 69th edition of the Lugo-San Marino cycling race took place on October 4, featuring significant results in the Allievi category. Sixteen-year-old Davide Grigi of the Alba Orobia Biassono team secured a solo victory, winning the race as part of the Oscar TuttoBici competition. Grigi finished with a 1 minute and 10 second lead over runner-up Matteo Baldacci, while Kristiiyan Yakov Ivanov took third place. Riccardo Longo also performed well for Alba Orobia Biassono, finishing fifth.

In recognition of youth participation, the Pierre de Coubertin Sammarinese Committee (CSPC) presented an award to the youngest participant, Michele Aprile. Aprile, representing ASD Cam Bike of Gragnano, finished in 9th place. The CSPC stated the award aims to value the courage and passion of young athletes rather than just competitive results, promoting values such as fair play and inclusion through sport.
