Davide Vasta launches campaign for Sicilian regional assembly with Sud Chiama Nord

The electoral campaign for Davide Vasta began this morning at Palazzo Minoriti, the seat of the Sicilian Regional Assembly in Catania. Vasta, a current member of the Assembly and mayor of Riposto, was presented as a candidate for the 2027 regional elections on the Sud Chiama Nord list, which backs Cateno De Luca’s bid for the Sicilian presidency.

Cateno De Luca, leader of Sud Chiama Nord, highlighted Vasta’s administrative experience and his work in municipal offices since 2022, describing him as a “pioneer” and a “gentleman” who will help the list present competent candidates. Vasta pledged to focus on listening to citizens, addressing local issues, and turning community demands into concrete proposals, emphasizing the need for a politics that truly understands Sicily’s territories.
