Davido and DJ Tunez engage in social media feud

Afrobeats artist Davido and DJ Tunez have engaged in a renewed social media dispute following comments made by the disc jockey on X. DJ Tunez referred to Davido as ‘Slovido’ and suggested he ‘leave music for the musicians,’ while also criticizing Davido’s recent album.

Davido responded by telling Tunez to redirect his focus toward Burna Boy, referencing a previous physical altercation between Tunez and Burna Boy that occurred in April 2026 at Obi’s House in Lagos. The dispute involves long-standing tensions and viral social media moments, including a video where Burna Boy mocked Tunez by altering the lyrics of the song ‘Money Constant’ to include the phrase ‘Ogbafia dey for ground’.

Davido’s recent posts accused Tunez of shifting his focus from his original conflict with Burna Boy to him, despite Davido having no direct involvement in the initial incident.
