Davido Denies Chair Incident and Rejects $50,000 Petition Claim

Nigerian music star Davido responded to a viral video from Benin that suggested Davrel had sat on his chair. Davido said, “Davrel never sat on my chair. People are just stupid. They were only bitter because he’s a rich kid,” and argued that the criticism was driven by resentment toward Davrel’s wealthy background.

He also addressed a petition filed by businessman Muse Ariyoh alleging that Davido received $50,000 for a performance. During a livestream with content creator Carter Efe, Davido dismissed the allegation, questioned the petitioner’s financial capacity, and called the claim unfounded.
