DaVinci Resolve 21.1 released with major feature updates

Blackmagic Design has released DaVinci Resolve 21.1, marking a substantial update ahead of the IBC event. The release introduces expanded still photography support on the Photo page, enhanced multicam controls, and an updated trim editor.

Fusion tools have received significant upgrades, including over 25 new Krokodove-based shape and 3D tools, updated macro controls, and support for a new multi-input material node. Blackmagic Cloud Presentations has also been updated to include subtitle support, annotation sharing, and comment replies.

The paid DaVinci Resolve Studio version includes exclusive features such as MultiMaster trims on the color page, integration with AI assistants, and 20 new scripting APIs. Additionally, Studio users gain camera control support for Fujifilm, Leica, and Sony cameras.
