Davis Cup to debut in Patagonia at Ruca Che Stadium

The Davis Cup is set to arrive in Patagonia for the first time as the Ruca Che Stadium in Neuquén undergoes renovations to meet International Tennis Federation (ITF) requirements. The venue will host the World Group I qualifying tie between Argentina and Turkey on September 19 and 20.

Infrastructure improvements include installing a synthetic indoor surface, upgrading locker rooms, replacing lighting, and conditioning public access areas. Tickets for the event sold out within hours of their release. The Argentine team, captained by Javier Frana, includes Francisco Cerúndolo, Thiago Tirante, Mariano Navone, Guido Andreozzi, and Andrés Molteni. The match will determine placement in the 2027 Qualifiers and offers Argentina the chance to achieve its 100th victory in the competition's history.
