Davivienda and Olímpica partner to expand digital banking services

Davivienda and its digital wallet, DaviPlata, have entered a strategic alliance with the supermarket chain Olímpica to expand financial service accessibility in Colombia. This partnership allows users to make deposits, payments, and withdrawals at designated checkout counters within Olímpica stores.

To facilitate withdrawals without a physical card, users can utilize the bank's mobile application to generate a security code, which is then presented to the cashier. DaviPlata CEO Marcela Ramírez stated that the goal is to integrate financial management into the daily routines of customers by making services available at locations they already frequent.

Separately, Davivienda reported a significant increase in its second-quarter 2026 financial results, achieving a net profit of 811.619 billion COP and revenue of 8.078 trillion COP. The institution maintains a strong digital presence, with 93 percent of its 24.7 million customers using its digital platforms.
