Davivienda awards technological talent in Honduras

THALIA and NutrilNnova have been named winners of the first edition of Espaciotec in Honduras. The initiative, led by Banco Davivienda, aims to connect entrepreneurial talent with training, mentorship, and international growth opportunities.

During the inaugural Día Tec 2026 event, ten finalist startups presented their proposals. The competition included five projects in the Idea category and five in the MVP or Business Development category. The program provided participants with specialized support to validate proposals and strengthen business models.

This expansion into Honduras follows the regional success of the Espaciotec platform, which originated in El Salvador in 2018. Walter Mejía, Executive President of Davivienda Honduras, stated that the bank aims to support innovators who develop solutions contributing to the country's progress and well-being.
