Davor Bunoza warns of political pressure on Mostar courts

Bosnia and Herzegovina Minister of Justice Davor Bunoza has raised concerns regarding political and religious pressure on the judiciary in Mostar. Bunoza specifically addressed ongoing court proceedings involving dismissed workers from JP Komunalno and the construction of the Croatian National Theatre (HNK).

Bunoza stated that the arrival of high-ranking officials providing one-sided support, the use of state budget funds to finance one party in a dispute, and religious leaders issuing decrees without legal basis constitute direct pressure on the courts. He expressed hope that the Mostar courts would maintain their integrity and rule solely according to the law, rather than rewarding attempts to influence judicial outcomes.
