Dawn Light charged with juror intimidation in Lindsay Clancy trial

Dawn Light, 56, has been charged with aggravated intimidation of a juror following her arrest during the Lindsay Clancy murder trial in Plymouth County. Prosecutors allege that Light, a registered nurse, sat in a restricted area outside the courthouse and photographed jurors as they exited the building.

While Light pleaded not guilty, claiming the incident was a “misunderstanding” and that she was attempting to photograph the defendant, investigators reportedly discovered video footage of jurors within the deleted files on her mobile phone.

A judge has ordered Light to stay away from the courthouse grounds and from individuals associated with the Clancy trial. She is also prohibited from producing or disseminating any photos that may have been preserved via cloud services. The Lindsay Clancy case, which involves charges of the murder of three children, has drawn significant media attention.
