Dawn Marie expresses ongoing hostility toward wrestling rival Francine

Former ECW and WWE wrestler Dawn Marie has expressed intense, ongoing animosity toward her former rival, Francine. In a recent interview on ‘The Velvet Ropes’ with SoCal Val, Dawn Marie stated that her issues with Francine stem from a ‘very, very, very hostile environment’ during her time in ECW.

Dawn Marie claimed that while she was focused on honing her craft and professional development, Francine was focused on protecting her own position and attempting to remove others. She characterized the two as opposites, stating, ‘There’s two kinds of people. There’s people who love what they do, and there’s people who love who they are when they’re doing it.’

Addressing the longevity of the feud, Dawn Marie said, ‘There’s no secret, like, I hate Franny... I would piss on her if she was on fire.’ She also noted that her experience in the WWE locker room was professional and lacked the hostility she encountered in ECW, where she alleged Francine was preoccupied with the status of Tammy Sytch.
