DAX approaching final wave ahead of potential corrective phase
The short-term Elliott Wave outlook for the DAX indicates that the current cycle, which began at the July 17, 2026 low, is reaching a mature stage and approaching completion. The index has moved through several waves, with the final leg of wave (v) reaching 26,573.50, completing wave (iii) at the higher degree.
Following a corrective wave (iv) that unfolded as a zigzag structure, the index has resumed higher in wave (v). However, a break above the wave (iii) peak is required to fully invalidate the possibility of a double correction. In the near term, as long as the pivot at 24,645.6 remains intact, pullbacks are expected to attract buyers, supporting the prospect of further upside within the ongoing bullish sequence.
