Scout24 SE and Edisun Power announce major financial updates
Scout24 SE announced that between August 17 and August 21, 2026, it repurchased a total of 174,547 shares as part of its ongoing share buy-back programme. The transactions were conducted through stock exchanges or multilateral trading systems by a commissioned credit institution.
In a separate development, Edisun Power Europe AG has released further financial details regarding its acquisition of the Smartenergy Group. The purchase price for Smartenergy's business operations is approximately 440 million Swiss francs. To finance the deal, Smartenergy will initially provide Edisun Power with a loan for the purchase amount, which will subsequently be offset by the issuance of approximately 2 million new registered shares of Edisun Power at an issue price of 218.05 Swiss francs per share.
The capital increase is expected to be completed in the coming days, with the new shares projected to be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange in the fourth quarter. The merger includes plans to rename the entity to Smartenergy AG and relocate its headquarters to Wollerau, Switzerland, by the end of 2026.
