Daylight saving time transition: Clocks to move back in October

The transition from summer time to winter time is approaching. Clocks will be set back by one hour during the early hours of Sunday, October 25, marking the return to standard winter time.

While the European Commission proposed a directive in September 2018 to abolish seasonal time changes across the European Union, no final decision or timeline has been established. The Council has not yet approved a position on the proposal, meaning the current system of biannual clock changes remains in effect.
