Dayne Zorko warns Brisbane against underestimating Sydney Swans

Brisbane Lions veteran Dayne Zorko has warned his team against underestimating the Sydney Swans ahead of their upcoming AFL qualifying final at the SCG. Despite the Swans being written off by many following the suspension of several key players—including Riley Bice, Nick Blakey, Isaac Heeney, James Jordon, and Chad Warner—Zorko believes the side retains significant talent and resilience.

The suspensions stemmed from an incident currently under police investigation. While Sydney chairman Andrew Pridham suggested the situation might torpedo their season, Zorko highlighted the presence of All-Australians like Dane Rampe, Brodie Grundy, and Errol Gulden as major threats. Zorko noted that the group appeared galvanised by recent challenges, describing their determination as a ‘superpower’ heading into the finals series.
